You Kids Get Off My Lawn!

I have a birthday coming in a couple of weeks. However, I was not expecting to see this in todays mail:
The letter accompanying my new AARP membership card and registration form assures me that my admission is guaranteed as long as I am age 50 or older. My approaching birthday will be my thirty-eighth.
Either I have a friend with an unusual sense of humor or AARP really needs some new marketing people.
That’ll really screw up a perfectly good Friday.
