UPDATE: Governor Tim Kaine was not particularly inspiring, either. I need a drink.
I understand that our President is not a great communicator. That’s fine. Eloquence is not a prerequisite to good leadership. But I honestly hoped for something more than the same tired rhetoric we’ve heard for the past four years.
Lame.
If I have the time, I’ll parse the rest tomorrow. Goodnight.
