Happy Thoughts
After spending the better part of the day inhaling 120-year-old attic dust and piercing my skull with rusty roofing nails while doing some electrical work, I found myself exhausted and in a very sour mood.
Fortunately, Dara directed me to the new Salon.com Garrison Keillor piece and, as usual, I feel better for having read him.
Or maybe it was the beer. It might have been the beer. Actually, it was probably a bit of both. Give it a read without the benefit of a fermented vegetable beverage and let me know.
You might also take a moment to read this excerpt from Keillor’s book, Homegrown Democrat. You’ll probably need a drink for that one.

I’m glad it made your Saturday better, too.
